The wedding reception of Anand and Archana, daughter of Rajasekhar, who is an active DMK loyalist, was held at the Race Course, Chennai yesterday. Archana is also the sister of Arjun Durai of Red Giant Films who co-produced Aadhavan along with Udayanidhi Stalin. The reception was attended by the who’s who of politics and cinema.
Udhayanidhi Stalin and his wife Kiruthiga made an impressive presence. From the film fraternity Kamal Haasan, Gauthami, Suriya, K.S. Ravikumar, Vadivelu, Harris Jayaraj, Ramesh Khanna, Vijay, FEFSI Vijayan, Ramanarayan and A.R. Murugadoss were seen wishing the newly weds.
The political circles witnessed the presence of Deputy Chief Minister MK Stalin, Napoleon and Thirumavalavan. Poet Tamizhachi Thangapandian was also spotted. The reception was a grandiose event.
