Kettavan, Simbu's forthcoming movie is directed by G.T Nandakumar and produced by Bharathan films. The story is written by Simbu who is known for penning thrilling and lively stories like 'Manmadhan' and 'Vallavan'. It is again a "Bad girl, good boy" movie with an effective screenplay. Silambarasan plays three different personalities, which would be a great challenge for him in this movie. Namitha plays a powerful character of a super model. Santhanam joins up with Simbu again - the pair, as we all know, has done a mind-blowing comedy track in their previous works.

Lekha Washington , the SS Music VJ pairs up with Simbu. This being her first movie project, she has high hopes about her role as a Brahmin girl. Lekha has completed her Masters from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Simbu has come up with some creative stills which have increased the propaganda for the movie. He is also planning to remake "Raakala Velaiyile" song from his father's movie 'Mythili Ennai Kaadhali'. The advertising stills for this movie have already become the talk of the town. Close sources say that this is a story that is about his lost love life, and the story revolves around the depressing experiences faced by the lead character.
