A R Ramesh who directed the film Kuppi is directing a film titled Kaavalar Kudirippu. The film is to hit the screens next month. At this point of time the director has changed the title. Ramesh while speaking about this said,” I have not changed the title because there was some protest.
Kaavalar Kudirippu is a film on young lovers. After the Babar Masjid demolition there was a riot in Bangalore. This story of the film happens in this back drop. The police department has not objected to this title.
Since some people suggested that this title seems to be a like a political film and since the film was also a romantic film, I decided to change the title. New faces Anees Tejaswar and Shruthi are in the lead roles. This film is being released next month
