Crescent Creations is producing a film titled Varmam which has new face Akilan in the lead role. Kerala model Anaka is pairing with him. Nizhalgal Ravi, Bala Singh, Meera Krishnan and Parota Suri are also in the cast.
Lots of murders take place in Chennai metro city. The person responsible for these murders also kills people who are involved in commercial sex trade. The hero who does not know that the heroine is responsible for these murders loves her.
The hero when he comes to know that the heroine is the one who has committed these murders is shocked. What happens after this is the rest of the story narrated with twists.
The shooting of the film is over. Post production work is going on. Paul Gregory has handled the camera while Meera Lal has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Kavi Mughil.
